That is SO amazing - and what a valuable life lesson! Jacob would have started the same way, refusing, so as I was reading your post initially I started to get that familiar anxiety rising in me where I try to talk him into trying and he refuses.

So, I am SUPER SUPER SUPER impressed with Elizabeth!!!! She worked hard all summer to learn to pitch, and then she gave it a shot in a stressful situation and she didn't buckle under pressure!!
